DEEPDISH - Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer duo Ali "Dubfire" Shazinia and Sharam Tayebi, known as Deep Dish, built a celebrated legacy based on innovation. While electronic dance music remained subsumed in nineties rave culture, the pair struck their own delicate balance amidst house and techno with a sly pop sensibility.
The iconic Washington DC duo, are celebrating 30 years of their impressive music production career. Their landmark Deconstruction debut album Junk Science, featuring tracks like "Stay Gold" and "The Future of the Future" with Everything But The Girl, has been available on streaming platforms for some time. In summer 2024, their second album George Is On, which includes hit singles "Say Hello," "Dreams," and "Flashdance," as well as remixes from top artists like Steve Angello, Paul Van Dyk, and David Guetta, is now available on streaming services for the first time, thanks to a new digital deal with Armada Music.
Looking ahead, Deep Dish is embracing new music, fresh styles, and a continually evolving electronic sound, with more exciting releases planned for 2025, including updated versions of their back catalogue.
